1. How can you compare the CISSP examination with that of CISA? I just gave my CISA exams in December 2005. Not sure whether I would get through. However, as a means of not losing the tempo of reading, I thought of giving a try for CISSP. I had heard that CISSP is more technical than CISA. I am a Chartered Accounant (from India), having some exposure to Software Programming, and ERP Implementation. I need your advise as to whether I would be in the right path by doing CISSP?
The CISSP is somewhat more technical than the CISA, but, more importantly, it is also a lot broader. As a CA, you already have most of the background for the CISA, but possibly not a lot of that necessary for the CISSP. Also, it doesn't sound as if you have the necessary work experience in systems security.
2. Can you suggest me a few books to do the reading?
