Hello Rob,

Thank you very much for all the information. Actually, I have heard of this
exam recently and was interested to collect the information. I heard that this
exam was conducted only once in a year. I did not know that I can get schedule
online.

I did not even know that www.cissp.com is NOT the official website for this
exam. Thanks for the isc2.org link. I went through it.

Thanks again,
best wishes,
Ram.

When is CISSP exam ?

You're kidding, right? [Sigh.] No, I guess not.

There is an exam, somewhere, pretty much any week. (Same goes for the SSCP
and the concentrations: you can write any exam on any scheduled date, as long
as
you are registered for that exam.) Check out the schedule at:

https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/exam_schedule.cgi?displaycategory=1182

(Is there enough time to prepare for the exam this year?)

If you have the experience, you shouldn't much prep. I generally tell people
that
the optimum time to leave between a review seminar and the exam is 4 - 6 weeks,
so, yes, you should have time to prepare before the end of the year.

And when is the last date to pay the exam fees ?

If I recall correctly, a late fee kicks in about a month before the sceduled
date. I
think you can actually get registered within a few days before the exam.

Searched cissp.com but I am not clear on dates. Kindly help.

Andrew's site is good, but you should be checking out www.isc2.org.
