Workshop description
CISSP was created by (ISC)2 as an industry standard certification
for those who qualify in a six-hour examination that tests candidates
proficiency in carefully chosen ten domains of knowledge required of
a secuirty manager. Valiant CISSTech has desinged and offered a
workshop for aspirants of this certification for the past four years.
Valiant regards this workshop as its "flag-ship" offering; this
having been successfully conducted this in different countries ? UAE
(Dubai & Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh & Al-Khobar), India
(Chennai & Bangalore), Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Thailand and Sri
Lanka. In almost all of these locations, these workshop was repeated
a number of times.
Workshop benefits & methodology
Participants in this workshop would learn the foundations and
frontiers of the contents of the ten domains of knowledge expected of
a CISSP aspirant. In addition to assisting the candidate to take the
exam and successfully clear it, it also imparts knowledge and skills
required of them after they are certified.
Boot camp style with instructor led presentation and discussions with
strongly encouraged participant interactions and quizzes. Before the
start of the course, all participants write a multiple choice test to
assess their level of understanding of the ten domains which would
also assist the faculty to fine tune the presentation and assist
those needing special attention.
Who should attend?
Particularly useful if you are planning to take the CISSP
examination. It has also been found useful by many who need exposure
to information security at a perspective level independent of
specific platform or technology.
Instructor
The principal instructor for this course is Mr. Rama K Subramaniam
who has successfully conducted over 30 workshops for CISSP aspirants
both as public programs and as in-house programs for very large
