Hello there, I think it's definitely worth it to go for the CISSP. If you check out job listings on Monster, Dice, HotJobs etc, that's one of the certs most referenced. I search those fairly regularly and don't see many GIAC references. Not to say the GIAC certs aren't good to have though.
