Dear Mr. Khurram
Wa-Alikum-Salam

As you are MS in Telecom then it means some of the important domain of
CISSP you already know, which can help you regarding the exam. But let me tell
you that CISSP exam is not like normal exams, which are floating around the IT.
This exam tests not only technical details but also Administrative capabilities
along with common sense. CISSP exam is honestly for those, who inherited
Security in their Blood. "Security is not a career, but a life style." If you
have same feelings about your self then this exam is not very difficult to pass.

There is no single book avalable in market which you study and pass. I have
studied almost all the books available on the topic, CISSP-ALL-IN-ONE (Shon
Haris), CISSP Prep Guide, Sybex CISSP Guide, Que CISSP (Roberta Brrag) and SRV
books. None of these alone can help you pass the exam. Every book miss some
detail which you can read from other books. But i suggest to read extra books
on the concerned domains from professionals e.g for cryptography check out for
"Hand book of Applied Cryptograhpy" http://www.cacr.math.uwaterloo.ca/hac/
interestingly enough CISSP domain is taken from the index of this books or in
other words, this book is exactly prepared to meet the requirements of CISSP
domain, only you need to skip some complex mathimatical formulas.

Most of the important, here experience counts most of all. If candidate have an
experience of three to four years in concerned field then there should be no
problem to pass the exams

I am available for any further help.

Best Regards,

Nadeem Rafi
