Rick:

http://www.searchsecurity.com is offering FREE, yes FREE online webcasts
from the good folks at
Logical Security, and Searchsecurity.com

I have already viewed Session 1, and it is defintly worth a look at.

The next webcast is:

TITLE: CISSP Essentials: Mastering the Common Body of Knowledge -- Class 2,
Access Control
WHEN: 21 OCT 2004, 09:00 EDT (13:00, GMT)
SPEAKER: Shon Harris - CISSP, MCSE and president of Logical Security
SPONSOR: Information Security Magazine
SUMMARY: A cornerstone of information security is controlling how resources
are accessed so they can be protected. This class examines topics in the
second domain of the CBK: access control.

Don't miss it.

Another thing I would like to mention is the CISSP Online Study Group
Sponsored by the University of Fairfax.
They too are offering FREE CISSP Study, with Practice tests.

The study group is delivered in a ten part course format, with a domain of
the CBK covered within each session.
The course homepage describes the course. The first session covered Security
Management Practices.

You can get more information here: www.universityoffairfax.net

Hope this helps.

Good Luck,

My company purchased the DVD's that teach the CISSP class from Logical
Security. I have been studying and following the CBT on the DVD. Shon Harris
is the instructure. I find it a good resource. Not sure of the current cost,
but I remember it was a little pricey.

HTH,
Kevin

Has anyone heard of a company called Logical Security that offers CISSP
training? I just wanted to get consensus.

The website is www.logicalsecurity.com.

Thanks all.
