I took the CISSP exam on Oct. 9th and found out on Oct. 16th that I had passed! I studied an average of 3-4 hours a day for a little over 2 months. I read the Shon Harris All-in-One Guide and did all of the exam questions at the end of the chapters. After I finished each chapter, I would view the Shon Harris DVD for the domain I had just read about. I also did several quizzes from CCCure.Org. After completing all ten domains, I starting reading the Krutz & Vines Gold Edition and did all of the questions at the end of each chapter. I only read the first 5 chapters. I also read a couple of chapters from the Roberta Bragg Training Guide, but found the book pretty skimpy. She really doesn't go into enough detail for the exam. The Cryptography chapter in Roberta Bragg's book had only 19 pages of text. The last two weeks of the test, I concentrated on quizzes from the CD's included with my books and the CCCure quizzes. I found the CCCure quizzes to be the best preparation for the exam. I had read on other forums that if you are getting 80-90% at the Pro level, you should be OK. If I didn't get above 80% at the Pro level, I would go back and review my weak areas. I downloaded study guides for each domain from CCCure and also purchased the CramSession study guide. The CramSession study guide proved to be a great review and I read it again right before going into the exam. Good luck to all those studying and preparing for the exam. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> $9.95 domain names from Yahoo!.
