Hi Alvi -

You're in luck - there is a great thread on this very subject going on
right now in another list I read (ISACA's SarBox Discussion)...you
should be able to access the list archives (without joining) here:
http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=SARBANES-OXLEY

The thread you need to search for "Audit Programs with Flowcharts". -
its off-topic for that list and under an inaccurate title as well so
in addition to some good advice on the CISA exam there should be some
more entertaining responses in the thread soon enough.

My .02 on it - I passed the exam in 2000 (barely LOL) - if you've been
doing IT auditing for at least a year you should be in good shape with
a lot of preparation - if you've been in the field 3 years (minimum
required to get the cert) you should have no problem. Many financial
auditors I know have also passed the exam if they studied enough - I
guess they are too scared to take their own cert exam (CIA).
