RE: [CISSP-D] Official Study Guide

Hi Don,

I recently passed the exam and used the official guide as my main book. I
found the included CD to be particularly helpful - although the cccure.org
questions do a better job of having the questions presented the same way as
the exam. I will say that the material in the official book can be
overwhelming. I didn't use the Shon Harris book but it seems to be a more
popular book and really zeroes in on just what you need to know, while the
official book is more of an all-encompassing reference book. FWIW - When I
took the exam everyone I spoke to studied from the Shon Harris Book or did a
class.

The official book and cccure.org (especially focusing my studies on weak
areas identified by the practice CD included with book) seemed to do the
trick for me.

Best of luck to you!

Jeff
