[CISSP-D] Standards for IT auditing

Subject: [CISSP-D] Standards for IT auditing

Kevin,

For Sarbox you can see SEC site but it will not give much idea on auditing.
It will just give idea on SOX rules and regulations.
You can refer to COSO (Commitee of sponsoring organisations) guide
(Recommnded by SEC)which gives you idea on IT controls for SOX.

There is one document which maps controls of COBIT for coso-sox.
I dont remenber the link but will find out if you need desperately.

For ISO17799, you need to buy those standards(Britishers dont give it
free:)). You can check it at BSI.

Hippa related info you can get on HHS (govt. site)

Cheers
