Ray,

You are already in a great place to start studying.  Another excellent place
to study is WWW.CCCURE.ORG.  

Once you get started in your studies you will be better able to gauge your
security experience.  Even if you decide you do not have enough experience
to shoot for CISSP certification ISC2 offers a junior certification to act
as a step along the way to CISSP, the SSCP.  I liken the CISSP cert to a
Black Belt.  Not everyone is going to come out of the chute ready to go for
that.  Check out ISC2.ORG for details on the SSCP certification

Also, exposure in the 10 bodies of knowledge will undoubtedly help you in
your professional career.  You won't go wrong preparing for this test.
